Enjoying MG April 2016

For the April club night we had a film show at Selling Village Hall. The films featured the history of the MG from its beginning until its demise. Thanks to Sue Smart for organising it and also to Norman & Janet Foord for providing the finger food buffet.

Looking ahead to June we have several events on the agenda. Firstly on Sunday 5th  June there is the annual Bucket and Spade run, which starts from Brogdale Farm and finishes on Ramsgate seafront. Also on the  same day there is the Bromley Pageant. This is probably the largest classic car show in the region and well worth going to at least once.

On Saturday 11th June we have the Boughton Aluph fete. Then there is a club night on 14th, where we are scheduled to play boules. On 12th June we have the Ham Street Classic Car Show and on 18th & 19th June there is the Quex Park Classic Weekend.. So plenty of events to look forward to.

The entry list for the Invicta Run on 31st July is rapidly filling up. Please bear in mind that this is limited to 50, so get your entry in as soon as possible The run starts from Macknade Fine Foods car park Faversham and finishes at Hawkinge Battle Of Britain Museum. Entry forms are available on our website and the cost is £25 per car, which includes route card, rally plaque, memento and entry to the museum.

Any members requiring information on any forthcoming events should look at our new format website, where entry forms for most events can be downloaded.
