Enjoying MG August 2017
So August has continued to bless us with mostly good weather.
Our Invicta Run was an extremely successful and exciting day more to
follow about this hopefully in the near future. Herne Bay was attended by
hundreds of cars and thousand of visitors, and yet another scorcher on the sea front. Our last meeting was a very low key 'natter night' and our next meeting is our annual quiz night, so get your thinking hats on A&F members!
Our Gymkhana was another enjoyable and entertaining day not only for club members but for caravaners and friends of George & Ros Homewood who hosted it once again. Thank you for another brilliant event. Janet & I also organised a Treasure Hunt in aid of Sierra Leone Street Children last month which was attended by club members and friends. A raffle was also held giving away prescious and sort after Goodwood Tickets, and Royal Engineer annual passes.
Thank you Dean Richardson for your generosity and Sue Smart for organising the raffle. In total from both events £270.00 was raised. This money will go a very long way to helping the children of Sierra Leone. Last but not least we would like to send our very best wishes to Adam & Amy who are due to get married on 2nd September, we wish them a long and happy marriage.
