Enjoying MG January 2017
Those of you that are eagle eyed and read Enjoying MG regularly may have noticed a change in club secretary as Paul Creigh who has looked after us for 7 years has decided its time to hang up his hat. Paul has been a great steward and has kept the club ticking over this difficult period. Our AGM was held on 10th January when I was voted in to replace him.
One other change was to add Chris Dencer to the committee to take care of all things computer related as he is defiantly our man as he did a sterling job last year helping out with our Invicta Run advertising and merchandising. He has revamped our website and set up a new Facebook page, so please go and take a look at it and give us a 'like' The rest of the committee remains unchanged and they continue to do a fantastic job.
We held our first committee meeting and decided on this years events, albeit this will be updated throughout the year as they come in. All dates can be found on our website. Our first run is 'Marks Memorial Run' which is organised by club member Cliff Boulton and will be held on Sunday 2nd April.
This has been a fantastic and enjoyable run in recent years, but alas this will be the last. All proceeds are sent to Pilgrims Hospice. If you would like to join us please get in touch. Our club Invicta Run has now been booked for Sunday 30th July (not 6th Aug as previously advertised) We will be starting at Macknades, Faversham and finishing at The Royal Engineers Museum in Gillingham. Book your place as this year numbers will be strict. Entry forms are on our website.
