Enjoying MG March 2016
The season got under way early this month with Cliff Boulton organising
a memorial run for his son Mark to raise funds for the Willesborough
Hospice. This took place on Sunday 20th March and started from the Halfway House Charlock. Maps were issued with points on a map with
arrows ranging from one to three points. Teams could go which ever way they wanted and get the clues at the arrows. 22 cars attended including cars from Whitecliffs and the Wednesday Wanderers. We finished back at the Halfway House at about 2.30pm. The event was won by Warren & Lisa Johnson with a score of 70 out of a possible 76 points, Mike & Sue Smart came last only scoring 15 points and were therefore awarded the booby prize.
Well done to Cliff for organising it and raising nearly £600 for the hospice.
At our last club night on 8th March Chris Dencer demonstrated the new website and is keen to receive any comments so that these can be incorporated. If you have not already had a look please do so, as it is a good way to see what is happening in 2016.
On 21st May we have a one off event celebrating 400 years of Chilham Castle, so if you are interested get your entry in.
On 22nd May we have the annual Faversham Classic Car & Bike Show. This is generally a great event with lots to see and do.
