Enjoying MG July 2018
July's events included our 'away night' just down the road at The Flying Horse in Boughton Aluph where a couple of new guys came along and we welcomed Roger Sutton to the club.
Our annual trip to Sheldwych Fete was very well attended by club members and a prize was awarded to Graham Howard for Best Car in Show. The following day we spent another scorcher at Whitstable show.
We've had a lot of new kit this last month so we have been proudly
flying our new flag and our members have been adorning their new club polo shirts, if you haven't got yours yet it's not too late, speak to Dean Richardson! I There will also be fleeces, jackets and caps available all embroided with our club logo.
In addition to this Chris Dencer surprised us with a new banner. The Invicta Run was a great success, the weather decided that this was the day to rain after 2 months without a drop! It didn't put off 54 intrepid classic car owners as they all took off in their shiny and clean vehicles just as the rain started and continued for the rest of the day! By time they arrived they were very wet and not so shiny and alot of mud had been added to the paintwork Next club night Debbie Emery & Graham Howard are organising a quiz in our absence while we attend Goodwood Revival.
